DEPARTMENT OF BBA-CA : Introduction

Established in 2008-2009

B.B.A. (C.A.) is a minimum 3 years Programme affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University with the intake of 80. 

This is designed for students who wish to pursue a professional career in Computer Application. B.B.A. (C.A.) Programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in the year 2024. 

The Department of B.B.A. (C.A.) endeavors to meet the challenges of changing technology and Industry. By joining this course, the students would gain a strong theoretical foundation, an ability to analyze, conceptualize and design systems and competency in modern software design and development tools. 

The syllabus follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) that has a blend of contemporary and traditional subjects. The programme has been specifically designed to suit the requirements of the IT industry, where individuals will be able to take up technical or management positions and can seek employment in many roles, including computer programmers, technical authors, and research associates.

☛ Eligibility for Admission:

  1. No Candidates shall be admitted to the First Year of the BBA - CA Degree Program (2024 Pattern) unless he / she has passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Maharashtra State Board or equivalent or University with English as a passing Course. 

  2. No candidate shall be admitted to the Third Semester Examination of the Second Year unless he / she has cleared First Two Semesters satisfactorily for the course at the college affiliated to this University.

  3. No student shall be admitted to the Third Year BBA – CA (Fifth Semester) Degree Program (2024 Pattern) unless he / she has cleared all the papers of First and Second Semester Examination of F.Y. BBA - CA

  4. No candidate shall be admitted to the Fifth Semester Examination of the Third Year unless he / she has cleared the first Two Semesters satisfactorily of Second Year for the Program at the college affiliated to this University. 

  5. No candidate shall be admitted to the Fourth Year BBA - CA (Seventh Semester) Degree Program (2024 pattern) unless he / she has cleared all the papers of Third and Fourth Semester Examination of S.Y. BBA- CA
