Our Department undertakes various activities for the overall development of students as well as cultivating research attitude. From the establishment of the Department, faculty members have put their consistent efforts in giving their best with respect to subject knowledge and extracurricular activities. Use of models, power point presentation, demonstration and hands on training etc. is done by the teachers in classrooms and laboratories. The teachers of the Department provide necessary guidance to the students for their regular and other interdisciplinary examinations.

- B.Sc. Course is of three years.
- Out of four subjects taken at F.Y.B.Sc., student can select one subject as specialization as per his/her interest and performance.
- M.Sc. course is of two years duration. Subject taken depends on his admission and choice.
- Ph.D. course duration depends on his/her research work completion.

- Intake of 120 students. Approximately 40 students per group.
- Intake of 24 students for Analytical and Organic Chemistry
