Students' Achievements

• Miss Nisha Patil presented her project in Zonal Level Avishkar Competition 2022-23.
• From last Four Years M. Sc. II Analytical Chemistry Department maintained ‘100% Result’.
• Departmental students Bhavisha, Akshada, Daidipya, Prathmesh, Pratiksha, Shivani & Saurabh got selected in ‘Avishkar’ research poster competition organized by SPP University.
• Mr. Ganesh Jadhav and Mr. Omkar Malusare got first prize in lecture competition held at Abasaheb Garware College, Pune.
• Departmental students presented High End instruments to SP college students.
• Department organized intercollegiate interviews via campus interviews.
• Students published research papers in international journals and book chapters.
• Many instrumental workshops were organized for the PG departments of the college.
• Mr. Samadhan Pawar, Mr. Anay Patil and Dr. Vikram Pandit attended a ‘Summer Research Training Programme’ organized by CSIR-Joharat, Assam.
• Industrial visit organized by department for students at ‘Schimatzu’ lab limited-Mumbai and ‘C-MET’ Pune a National Research Institute with all teachers.
• Students attended an ‘International workshop on water purification, Prathmesh, Pratiksha, Shivani and Saurabh at CMET Pune.
• Miss. Shivani Suryawanshi M. Sc. part- II student, ‘published a Research paper’ on PG research project in International peer reviewed Journal, ‘Journal of Materials Research’.
• Every year department organizes workshop on ‘Handling of high end instruments UV, FTIR, GC and HPLC’. Over 200 students from all over Maharashtra were participated.

Staffs' Achievements

• Prof. Sakshi Thombare and Prof. Pradnya Gaikawad qualified for the MH-SET exam.
• Prof. Pradnya Gaikawad qualified for the CSIR-UGC-NET and GATE exams.
• Dr. Vikram U. Pandit got Best Techer Award from The Poona Gujarati Kelvani Mandal and Lions Club Pune.
• Dr. Vikram Pandit completed a ‘Summer Research Training Programme’ organized by CSIR-Joharat, Assam.
• Teachers actively participated in the formation of ‘Online study materials’ developed and posted on Savitribai Phule Pune University Website.
• Departmental teachers participated in ‘Teachers training programme on Instrumentation’ organized by RKM College Akurdi, Pune.
• Prof. Ganesh Jadhav, Omkar Malusare and Bhagwan Daphal presented research papers in international workshop organized by Desai College and Portugal University.
• Dr. Vikram Pandit organized an international workshop organized by Desai College and Portugal University.
• Department teachers actively participated and recorded many video lectures for chemistry subject in ‘Learning Management Services,’ (LMS) video lecture series organized by SPPU.
